Desert Atelier & Co.
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
This policy explains how Desert Atelier & Co. collects, uses, and shares information through our website, lead forms, and related communications about our architectural finish services.
Information we collect
When you request an estimate, submit a website or Facebook or Instagram lead form, or contact us, we receive the information you provide. This can include your name, email address, phone number, project location, service interests, project description, timing, photographs, and messages. Career inquiries may include a resume, portfolio, and work history.
Our website and service providers also process technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, referral URLs, advertising click identifiers, cookies, and form-submission events. We use technical and submission information to operate the site, prevent spam, troubleshoot problems, and understand advertising performance.
How we use information
We use inquiry and project information to respond to you, discuss services, prepare estimates, arrange consultations, manage customer relationships, and coordinate work. We may follow up about your inquiry by email or phone using the details you provide. Career information is used to evaluate and respond to employment inquiries.
We also use information to maintain business records, protect our systems, meet legal obligations, and measure and improve our website and advertising. You may ask us to stop nonessential follow-up by contacting us below.
Facebook, Instagram, cookies, and advertising
When you submit a Meta instant form, Meta sends us your answers and related lead identifiers and submission details. We transfer this information into our customer relationship management system so our team can respond and track your inquiry.
We also send lead outcomes from our customer relationship management system to Meta through the Conversions API, such as when our team marks an inquiry as qualified or a job as won. These events include the outcome time and matching information, such as the Meta lead identifier and hashed contact details, to measure results and help Meta improve ad delivery. This outcome integration does not send your free-text project description or project photographs.
Our website uses Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to report visits and inquiry events and measure advertising. Information sent to Meta may include page URLs, IP address, browser information, advertising and cookie identifiers, and hashed contact details such as name, email, and phone number. Hashing transforms these details for matching; it does not make them anonymous to Meta. Meta may associate this information with your account and use it under its own policies. We also use Vercel Analytics to understand website usage.
You can manage cookies through your browser and advertising preferences through Meta. Browser settings may limit browser-based tracking but do not necessarily stop information sent by our server after you submit an inquiry. Contact us with questions or requests about that information. Disclosures to advertising platforms may qualify as sharing or targeted advertising under some privacy laws.
Read the Meta Privacy Policy and manage your Meta ad preferences.
Who receives information
Our team and the service providers supporting these functions may receive relevant information. Our current tools include Twenty for customer relationship management; Supabase for database, backup, and image storage; DigitalOcean and Vercel for hosting; Resend for email delivery; and integration services such as Zapier for transferring lead information. Meta receives advertising-related information as described above. Providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate.
We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably needed to address fraud, security issues, or protect legal rights. This policy does not govern third-party websites or platforms, which have their own privacy practices.
Optional room visualizations
If you use an available AI room-preview feature, your uploaded photograph and description are processed by OpenAI to generate a visualization. We store the request, source image, and generated preview using our service providers and may send the result by email. Please upload only images you have permission to share and avoid including people, sensitive documents, or other private information in photographs.
Retention and security
Inquiry, project, and communication records are retained for follow-up, service delivery, business recordkeeping, and applicable legal requirements. Retention varies with the type of information and our relationship with you; backups and service-provider records may have separate retention periods. Contact us to request deletion of information that is no longer needed.
We use access controls and other safeguards to help protect information, but no website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please do not send payment-card details, government identification numbers, or other sensitive information through our inquiry forms.
Your choices and deletion requests
You can contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold, or to ask us to stop nonessential communications. Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have additional rights concerning your information and its use for advertising.
For a request involving a Facebook or Instagram lead, include the name and email address or phone number used on the form, and approximately when you submitted it. Do not send a password or identification document. We may ask for information needed to verify your request and locate the relevant records. Some information may need to be retained for legal obligations, security, or ongoing services; we will explain relevant limitations when responding. Contact Meta separately for information held by Meta under its own policies.
Children and policy updates
Our website and services are intended for people arranging home or business improvement projects, not children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can investigate and address it.
We may update this policy as our services or practices change. The updated version will be posted here with a revised date.
